Authorizes courts to impose successful completion of workforce training at a community college, workforce development center, or similar nonprofit training program as a condition for withholding acceptance of a guilty plea under nonadjudication provisions in Section 99-15-26.

Allows workforce training completion to be included as a term of the pretrial intervention program under Section 99-15-117.

Requires the Department of Finance and Administration to transfer $2,000 from the Mississippi Department of Corrections budget to the Mississippi Community College Board for each person who successfully completes the workforce training, with funds disbursed to the college where training occurred.

Applies to circuit, county, justice, and municipal courts in misdemeanor and felony cases, excluding crimes of violence, public corruption offenses, trafficking of controlled substances, and implied consent law violations.

Effective July 1, 2020.
