Amends Mississippi Code sections 93-17-207 and 93-17-209 to cap fees charged by the Bureau of Vital Statistics or adoption agencies when adoptees request nonidentifying information about themselves or their birth parents.

Limits fees to a maximum of $100.00 when an adoptee requests nonidentifying information from the bureau, including actual reproduction costs.

Caps search fees at a maximum of $100.00 per birth parent when an adoptee requests a licensed adoption agency to locate birth parents and obtain medical, social, genetic, or nonidentifying background information.

Maintains existing protections that prevent disclosure of birth parents' names, addresses, identities of healthcare providers, or any information that could identify birth parents.

Takes effect July 1, 2020.
