Requires all public and private school employees (licensed and nonlicensed) to be tested annually for tuberculosis beginning in the 2020-2021 school year.

Newly hired employees must be tested upon employment; all other employees must be tested no later than October 1 of each year.

Employees must submit documentation of tuberculosis testing to the school superintendent (or designated board representative for charter and private schools) before October 1 annually.

Prohibits employment of any person with tuberculosis in an infectious or communicable stage at any public or private school in the state.

Effective date: July 1, 2020.
