Increases the hourly rate charged by the State Auditor for performing audits from $35.00 to $50.00 per man-hour, effective July 1, 2020.

Applies the new rate to audits and services for non-municipal governmental entities required to be audited by the State Auditor under state law.

Clarifies that costs for independent specialist firms contracted by the State Auditor shall be paid by the audited entity as determined by the State Auditor.

Updates Section 7-7-211 to reference Section 7-7-213 for audit cost payment procedures, replacing previous language specifying the $35.00 rate.

Changes references from "Department" to "Division" of Investigation within the State Department of Audit in enforcement and investigative provisions.
