Requires each community college district with an affiliated workforce development council and each workforce development center to coordinate use of mobile training units at regional correctional facilities for at least 90 days per facility

Mobile training units, including welding instruction and necessary instructors, must be provided to train nonviolent offenders housed in regional correctional facilities

Amends Section 37-153-9 to add duty for District Workforce Development Councils to coordinate and integrate delivery of training for certain nonviolent offenders as prescribed in the act

Amends Section 37-153-11 to add responsibility for workforce development centers to provide training of nonviolent offenders in regional correctional facilities

Effective date: July 1, 2020
