Expands authority for honorably retired law enforcement officers with at least 10 cumulative years of service who separated in good standing to carry concealed weapons throughout the United States if they meet federal standards under 18 USC 926(c).

Requires retired officers to request credentials from their most immediate past law enforcement employer, which must be approved by the Department of Public Safety, to carry concealed weapons.

Grants qualified retired officers a Mississippi Enhanced Firearms Permit that allows access to all locations listed in Section 45-9-101(13) without requiring additional training.

Effective date is July 1, 2020.
