Removes the cap of six (6) additional poll managers that election commissioners could previously appoint for voting precincts with over 500 registered voters.

Allows election commissioners to appoint additional poll managers for each 1,000 registered voters (or fraction thereof) above the first 500 in each precinct, with the number determined as necessary by election commissioners and approved by the board of supervisors.

Maintains the existing provision allowing election commissioners to appoint up to three (3) poll managers for the first 500 registered voters in each precinct.

Requires that all poll managers appointed be qualified electors of the county where the voting precinct is located.

Takes effect July 1, 2020.
