Amends Section 45-13-7 of the Mississippi Code to require fireworks kept for sale at wholesale and retail to be stored and sold only in rooms within permanent structures.

Prohibits fireworks from being stored or sold in temporary stands, replacing the previous allowance for small temporary stands to use water barrels and buckets as fire extinguishing equipment.

Maintains existing requirements for fire extinguishers, warning signs, and storage of fireworks in original packages unless an attendant is present.

Takes effect July 1, 2020.
