Prohibits employee contact with dogs except for immediate hand washing if contact occurs; requires immediate cleanup and sanitization of any dog waste.

Restaurants must submit application to State Department of Health and pass inspection; facilities with dog-friendly areas subject to at least twice-yearly inspections but no variance or additional fees required beyond regular annual inspection.

Takes effect July 1, 2020.
