Amends Section 45-1-71 to allow retired auxiliary and reserve officers to retain their issued badge as personal property when retiring under the Public Employees' Retirement System or other local government retirement system.

Amends Section 45-1-101 to include retired auxiliary and reserve officers in those eligible to obtain certification to carry a concealed weapon without a permit under the Law Enforcement Officers Safety Act of 2004.

Allows retired auxiliary and reserve officers to obtain necessary concealed carry certification from the Mississippi Association of Chiefs of Police if their former agency does not participate in certification or is not in convenient proximity.

Effective July 1, 2020.
