Restores voting rights to Catina Faulkner Taylor of Marshall County, Mississippi, who lost eligibility due to felony convictions.

Taylor was convicted on January 22, 1999, of two counts of uttering forgery and sentenced to two years in the Department of Corrections plus three years probation.

She received additional sentences on August 22, 2001, for violating probation terms (two counts of uttering forgery) and April 3, 2002, for identity theft (two years in custody plus probation).

Taylor completed all terms and conditions of her sentences on March 14, 2013, and the Legislature finds she has since conducted herself as a law-abiding citizen.

The act takes effect upon passage.
