Appropriates $1.00 from the Budget Contingency Fund to the Department of Health for COVID-19 hospital expenses from passage through June 30, 2021.

Authorizes reimbursement to public and private hospitals in Mississippi for costs incurred related to Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) under Section 5001 of the CARES Act.

Requires the State Health Officer or designee to certify to the State Fiscal Officer that hospital expenditures qualify for reimbursement under the CARES Act before any funds may be expended.

Takes effect July 1, 2020 and repeals June 30, 2021.
