Requires applicants for marriage licenses who have been previously married to provide a certified copy of their divorce or annulment decree with their application if their former spouse is still living or their status is unknown.

Applies to both parties if either has been married before and must include certified copies of all applicable decrees when multiple prior marriages exist.

Becomes effective July 1, 2020.

Does not change existing requirements for age verification, parental consent for applicants under 21, or other marriage license application procedures.
