Creates the Mississippi Workforce Development Study Committee composed of 15 members including the State Superintendent of Public Education, representatives from community colleges and manufacturers, legislative committee chairs, and four school superintendents appointed by the Governor, Lieutenant Governor, Speaker of the House, and Chair of the Mississippi Economic Council.

Committee shall review K-12 curriculum designed for workforce development and determine whether current curriculum meets Mississippi's workforce development needs.

Committee duties include reviewing reports and studies, requiring testimony from school and business officials, appointing subcommittees, studying financial literacy and home economics classes, and making recommendations for a state workforce development curriculum.

Committee must submit findings and recommendations to the Legislature and Governor no later than November 30, 2020, after which the committee shall be dissolved.

School districts, community colleges, institutions of higher learning, and businesses throughout the state are required to cooperate with the study committee.
