MS HB4

Increases the maximum number of package retailer's permits that a person may own or control from one to three permits.

Applies the limit to individuals, firm members, partnership members, LLC members, association members, stockholders, officers, and corporate directors.

Extends the ownership restriction to spouses and relatives living in the same household, preventing their combined permits from exceeding three total.

Effective date is July 1, 2020, with a notation indicating the act shall stand repealed on June 30, 2020 (creating an apparent conflict in the effective date provision).
