Adds "transactional information" as a defined term in the Mississippi Pawnshop Act, clarifying what data must be recorded for pawn transactions.

Requires pawnshop records to include a clear description of pledged items with model and serial numbers, the transaction date, and the maturity date of the pawn.

Requires pawnbrokers to provide "transactional information" records to law enforcement agencies within 72 hours, either electronically or on computer disc if the agency supplies software and hardware.

Reduces the holding period for purchased goods from 21 calendar days to 14 calendar days if pawnbrokers make transactional information available electronically or on disc to law enforcement.

Takes effect July 1, 2020.
