Authorizes the State Veterans Affairs Board to sell or dispose of chattel property belonging to state veterans nursing homes and cemeteries using any method deemed appropriate by the board when property is deemed surplus or unneeded, provided the disposition is consistent with the homes' and cemeteries' purposes.

Amends Section 29-9-9 to add the State Veterans Affairs Board as an exception to general state property disposal rules, allowing it to dispose of veterans facility property under the procedures established in Section 35-1-7.

Proceeds from cash sales of disposed property shall be paid into the support and maintenance or contingent fund of the veteran facilities as determined by the board.

Takes effect July 1, 2020.
