Amends Section 23-15-227 of the Mississippi Code to authorize mileage reimbursement for poll managers and other persons required to return to the registrar's office after polls close on election day.

Poll managers and other precinct workers receive mileage reimbursement at the federal employee rate for privately owned vehicles for each mile traveled in excess of 10 miles when returning to the registrar's office.

Maintains existing compensation of $75.00 per election for poll managers, with board of supervisors discretion to pay up to an additional $50.00 per election.

Compensation is payable from the county treasury and constitutes full payment for services rendered regardless of the number of elections or issues voted upon on the same day.

Takes effect July 1, 2020.
