Requires persons claiming title by adverse possession to notify the chancery clerk at least 90 days before their claim matures.

Mandates the chancery clerk forward notice of the imminent adverse possession claim to the property owner of record via certified mail.

Prohibits title from vesting in the adverse possessor unless the required notice is sent to the chancery clerk.

Applies to adverse possession claims not matured as of July 1, 2019.

Takes effect July 1, 2020.
