Allows boards of supervisors to maintain law books in electronic format in addition to printed books in courthouse courtrooms, as an alternative to physical books currently required.

Permits sheriffs to maintain required law books in electronic format on order of the board of supervisors, in addition to maintaining physical books.

Authorizes county public law libraries to maintain books in electronic format alongside printed copies.

Modifies the distribution of Mississippi Code of 1972 sets by the Joint Committee on Compilation, Revision and Publication of Legislation to allow provision of bound volumes to elected state officials and legislators upon written request, with electronic access as an option.

Takes effect July 1, 2020.
