Effective July 1, 2020, the Coahoma Community College District Board of Trustees increases from 9 to 14 members: Coahoma County 6 members, Tunica County 2 members, Quitman County 2 members, Bolivar County 2 members, and Tallahatchie County 2 members.

One member from each county in the Coahoma Community College District shall be the county superintendent of education.

Effective July 1, 2020, the Northeast Mississippi Community College District Board of Trustees shall consist of 15 members: Prentiss County 6 members, Alcorn County 2 members, Tippah County 2 members, Tishomingo County 2 members, Union County 2 members, and 1 at-large member elected by the board on a rotational basis from counties with only 2 members.

County superintendents may be appointed to the Northeast board if the college president recommends them, but county boards of supervisors retain sole discretion to appoint any qualified elector regardless of recommendation.

Current board members serving on July 1, 2020, continue to serve until their terms expire; all trustee terms are five years with staggered expirations to prevent multiple retirements from the same county in any one year.
