Authorizes vehicles transporting timber product loads extending more than 4 feet beyond the vehicle bed or trailer to operate at night if equipped with a rotating or oscillating amber strobe-type lamp or light-emitting diode light affixed near the end of the load.

Amends Section 63-7-47 to permit nighttime operation of timber-laden vehicles during the period from one-half hour before sunset to one-half hour after sunrise, replacing the previous daylight-only restriction.

Updates Section 63-5-19 to conform with the new provisions, cross-referencing Section 63-7-47 to allow timber product vehicles to operate during extended hours with proper lighting equipment.

Effective date of July 1, 2020.
