Amends Mississippi Code Section 43-35-33 to allow municipalities to increase urban renewal agency commissioners from five to seven members, effective July 1, 2020.

Mayors, with local governing body approval, may increase the commission size and may stagger initial appointment terms between one and five years; all subsequent appointments shall be for five-year terms.

Commissioners must reside within the municipality's area of operation and serve without compensation, though they receive reimbursement for necessary expenses.

Establishes that a majority of commissioners constitutes a quorum and that actions require a majority vote of commissioners present, unless bylaws require a larger number.

Updates gender-neutral language throughout the statute by replacing "his" with "or her" in references to commissioners and their duties.
