Allows judges to increase compensation for riding bailiffs at their discretion by up to an additional $70 per day when court is in session.

Maintains base compensation of $55 per day for riding bailiffs and adds optional supplemental payment of $70 per day, both paid by the county.

Limits circuit, chancery, and county court judges to employing no more than four riding bailiffs, with county court judges restricted to one bailiff per court day.

Prohibits full-time deputy sheriffs from serving as paid riding bailiffs.

Effective date: July 1, 2020.
