Revises minimum weekly unemployment benefit amounts based on total wages earned, replacing the previous flat $30.00 minimum with a tiered structure ranging from $250 to $1,000 per week depending on wage thresholds.

Establishes minimum benefits of $1,000 per week for wages over $100,000, $750 for wages between $75,000-$100,000, $650 for wages between $50,000-$75,000, $500 for wages between $25,000-$50,000, and $250 for wages of $25,000 or less.

Removes the previous maximum weekly benefit amount caps of $210, $230, and $235 that were set for specific benefit years beginning July 1, 2002, 2008, and 2009 respectively.

Eliminates a requirement that the Mississippi Department of Employment Security generate actuarially sound models for computation of weekly benefit amounts.

Takes effect on July 1, 2020.
