• Requires health insurance policies covering Mississippi residents that provide pregnancy-related benefits to also cover medically necessary infertility diagnosis and treatment expenses, including artificial insemination, in vitro fertilization, and related procedures, effective July 1, 2020.

• Limits infertility coverage to a lifetime benefit of $25,000 per person and restricts coverage to married individuals, except for fertility preservation services to prevent treatment-induced infertility.

• Establishes a one-year pilot program in the State and School Employees Health Insurance Plan covering up to 100 eligible participants for infertility testing and treatment, with the board required to report findings to the Legislature by December 1, 2021.

• Requires the state health plan to update its proton radiation policy to incorporate the latest recommendations from the American Society of Radiation Oncologists.

• Applies to health insurance policies delivered, issued, or renewed in Mississippi on or after July 1, 2020, but excludes self-insured group arrangements except for the pilot program.
