Commends the Gentry High School Gentrytes choral group for five years of outstanding performances and talent under the direction of Mr. Harvey Jackson, Jr.

Recognizes the group's numerous superior ratings at district and state competitions, as well as first place gold awards and Sweepstakes recognition at national choral invitational festivals in Florida, Texas, Georgia, New York, and California.

Acknowledges the Gentrytes' notable performances, including singing at B.B. King's 2015 funeral and performing at the B.B. King Homecoming festival in Indianola.

Notes that 98% of Gentrytes members graduate with choral scholarships to universities across Mississippi and released their first Christmas album "A Gentrytes Christmas" in December 2019.

Directs distribution of the resolution to members of the Gentry High School Gentrytes and the Capitol Press Corps.
