Commends Lieutenant Colonel Reuben Soliz, Commander of the 379th Expeditionary Aeromedical Evacuation Squadron, for exemplary leadership and meritorious response during Operation Inherent Resolve.

Recognizes Soliz's efforts to safely evacuate members of Aeromedical Evacuation Liaison Team II, including Mississippi Air National Guard forces, from Baghdad following the termination of Major General Qasem Soleimani and rising threat of conflict with Iran.

Credits Soliz with securing passage on a Special Operations Command helicopter asset to expeditiously remove his personnel from a volatile location with deteriorating conditions.

Acknowledges Soliz's intuition and resolve in extracting his team while enabling them to continue aeromedical evacuation operations supporting American military personnel in Iraq.

Directs that copies of this resolution be furnished to Lieutenant Colonel Reuben Soliz and members of the Capitol Press Corps.
