Recognizes and commends Entergy Mississippi employees for providing 10 consecutive years of historically low cost electricity to approximately 451,000 homes and businesses across 45 of Mississippi's 82 counties.

Notes that Entergy Mississippi's average residential rates are approximately 24% below the United States average and were the second lowest among investor-owned utilities in the United States in 2016.

Acknowledges that low rates benefit low-income families and help Mississippi attract new industry and jobs.

Recognizes Entergy Mississippi for national recognition as "America's Most Responsible Companies," "Top Utilities in Economic Development," "Best Companies for Diversity," and inclusion in the U.S. Chamber of Commerce "Corporate Citizenship Hall of Fame."

Directs copies of the resolution be furnished to Entergy Mississippi leadership and members of the Capitol Press Corps.
