Commends the 2019-2020 Pine Grove High School Lady Panthers Basketball Team for winning the 2020 MHSAA Class 1A State Basketball Championship on March 6, 2020.

Team finished the season with a 30-8 overall record and a perfect 10-0 district record, defeating Baldwyn 48-41 in the championship game at The Pavilion at Ole Miss.

This marks the fourth consecutive Class 1A State Basketball Championship and eighth overall state championship for the Lady Panthers program.

Recognizes seniors Loren Elliot and Karlie Rogers, who combined for 43 of the team's 48 championship points, and Head Coach Katie Bates, who earned her fifth state title as a head coach.

Directs copies of the resolution be furnished to Coach Katie Bates, Pine Grove High School, and members of the Capitol Press Corps.
