Extends the 2020 regular legislative session by 30 days from May 10, 2020, to June 9, 2020, under Mississippi Constitution Section 36.

Authorizes the House and Senate to adjourn for more than three days and allows the Speaker and Lieutenant Governor to jointly determine whether to reconvene on April 1, 2020, or another date.

Provides for a second 30-day extension to July 9, 2020, if the legislature has not adjourned sine die by June 9, 2020, with potential reconvening on June 17, 2020.

Amends Joint Rule 40 to adjust all legislative deadlines to later dates in seven-day periods when the Speaker and Lieutenant Governor jointly set a reconvening date, ensuring deadlines fall on the same day of the week as originally scheduled.
