Honors Mr. A.C. McKenzie, Sr., a World War II veteran and Purple Heart recipient from Raymond, Mississippi, born December 7, 1924.

Recognizes McKenzie's military service beginning October 20, 1943, at Camp Shelby, including deployment to France in July 1944 with the 438th Quartermaster Gas Supply Company.

Acknowledges McKenzie's severe combat injury in September 1944 when a bomb struck his artillery truck at the Ramagen Bridge, resulting in unconsciousness and shrapnel wounds.

Notes McKenzie was honorably discharged as a Buck Sergeant in August 1946 after advancing three ranks during two years of active duty, and subsequently worked in construction and for paper companies.

Commends McKenzie's lifetime of service to his family, community, and nation, and directs that copies of the resolution be provided to McKenzie, his family, and the Capitol Press Corps.
