Mourns the death of Mrs. Polly Matthews Gordon, who passed away on May 20, 2020, and commemorates her life and legacy.

Recognizes Mrs. Gordon's 53-year career as an educator, including roles as a business education teacher and guidance counselor at Union High School, making her the longest-serving educator in Union Public Schools history.

Acknowledges her community service, including leadership roles in the Union Present Day Club and Xi Chapter of Delta Kappa Gamma, and her work as music director at Bluff Springs Church of God in Union.

Expresses condolences to her surviving family members: children M. Craig Gordon, M. Darin Gordon, Brian S. Gordon, and Teresa Parker; grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Directs copies of this resolution be furnished to Mrs. Gordon's family and the Capitol Press Corps.
