Commends and congratulates the Gentry High School Gentrytes choral group under the direction of Mr. Harvey Jackson, Jr., for their exceptional talents and achievements over five years.

Recognizes the group's performances at notable events including Riley "B.B." King's 2015 funeral and the B.B. King Homecoming festival in Indianola, Mississippi.

Notes the Gentrytes' numerous superior ratings and awards at district and state competitions, and their first-place gold finishes in three performing ensembles at national choral invitational festivals across Florida, Texas, Georgia, New York, and California.

Highlights that 98% of the Gentrytes' members graduate with choral scholarships to universities across the state, and notes the release of their first Christmas album in December 2019.

Directs copies of the resolution be furnished to the Gentry High School Gentrytes and Capitol Press Corps.
