Commends the 1970 Forest High School Bearcats Football Team on the 50th anniversary of winning the Little Dixie Conference Championship with an 11-0 record.

Recognizes the team as the first integrated championship squad in school history, featuring players of both races and the school's first African-American coach, "Bo" Clark.

Acknowledges the team's success despite obstacles, including Head Coach Gary Risher's absence from the championship game due to his son's serious illness, which was overcome through a telephone hookup coordinated by school administration.

Lists 53 student athletes, managers, cheerleaders, and band members who contributed to the team's achievement and received community support including funding for a trip to the Sugar Bowl in New Orleans.

Directs copies of the resolution be furnished to team coaches and members, Forest High School, Forest City Hall, and the Capitol Press Corps.
