Honors the life and legacy of Mr. Ogbueshi Menkem Onyia, who passed away on February 24, 2020, and expresses the Mississippi House of Representatives' deepest sympathy to his family and community.

Recognizes Onyia as a native of Asaba, Nigeria who was among the first IBM-trained computer programmers in his country and became a successful businessman before fleeing during the civil war.

Acknowledges his achievements in the United States, including earning a degree in business administration and accounting, founding Tri-Continental Industries, Inc., and later establishing Is The Time, Inc. (crude oil and fuel distribution) and Okees Used Auto Sales.

Notes his family values, marriage to wife Florence in May 1975, four children (Atuche, Kosisochukwu, Amalim, and Chukwukeziah), and three grandchildren, along with his volunteer mentoring of high school economics through Junior Achievement.

Directs that copies of the resolution be furnished to Onyia's family and the Capitol Press Corps.
