West Harrison High School Cheerleader Team won the 2019 Mississippi High School Activities Association (MHSAA) State Championship in the Varsity Co-Ed Game Day division on December 14, 2019, marking the team's first state championship.

Team advanced to national competition following their state championship victory and placed third, demonstrating significant growth and dedication throughout the 2019-2020 season.

Cheerleading coaches Elizabeth Dingman and Heather Serpas are recognized for their leadership in developing the squad's skills and knowledge.

House of Representatives commends the 29-member cheerleader team and school administration for excellence, sportsmanship, and dedication to athletic endeavors.
