Commends Cathy Anderson of Columbia, Mississippi, for being named to the 2020 Class of Extraordinary Educators by Curriculum Associates, an elite group of 31 teachers nationwide.

Recognizes Anderson's qualifications including a bachelor's degree in elementary education, master's degrees in educational leadership and supervision and psychometrics, and 28 years of teaching experience in Mississippi since 1995.

Notes Anderson currently serves as a fourth-grade math teacher at Thames Elementary School in Hattiesburg, Mississippi, and has previously worked as an elementary and high school principal.

Acknowledges the benefits of Anderson's induction including local and national recognition, access to a peer network, professional development opportunities, and an invitation to the Extraordinary Educators Leadership Summit in Boston, Massachusetts.
