Commends the life and legacy of Louis Benjamin Beverly, Jr., who passed away on March 7, 2020, and expresses deepest sympathy to his family and friends.

Recognizes Beverly's military service in the United States Air Force and his educational achievements, including a bachelor's degree in music education from Jackson State University and a master's degree in vocational counseling from Mississippi State University.

Honors his 31-year career with the Mississippi Employment Security Commission, where he served as Equal Employment Opportunity Commission Officer in the Jackson office until his retirement in June 1998, and his earlier teaching career at Elizabeth H. Keys High School.

Acknowledges his 47-year membership and active participation at Mount Helm Baptist Church, including service as Chairman of the Board of Trustees, and his dedication as a Jackson State University Tigers football fan.

Directs that copies of the resolution be provided to Beverly's family and the Capitol Press Corps.
