Recognizes and commends Third District Circuit Judge John A. Gregory upon his retirement effective June 30, 2020, after 43 years of public service.

Judge Gregory served the Third Circuit Court District (Benton, Calhoun, Chickasaw, Lafayette, Marshall, Tippah and Union Counties) since January 2011.

Prior to his judicial appointment, Judge Gregory served as law clerk to Supreme Court Justice Stokes V. Robertson, Assistant District Attorney for nine years, Chickasaw County Prosecuting Attorney for 23 years, school district attorney for 23 years, and Okolona City Attorney for 15 years.

Judge Gregory is a Fellow of the Mississippi Bar Foundation, past president of the Okolona Chamber of Commerce, and Elder of Okolona Presbyterian Church.

Directs copies of the resolution to be furnished to Judge Gregory, the Mississippi Conference of Circuit Court Judges, and Capitol Press Corps.
