Requires the State Department of Education to develop a central reporting system for school districts and charter schools to report all data required by federal law to be reported to the U.S. Department of Education Office for Civil Rights.

School districts and charter schools must report all required data to the system no later than July 1 of each year.

Both the State Department of Education and each school district or charter school shall publish the reported information in a searchable and publicly accessible format on their respective websites.

Removes previous confidentiality restrictions on expulsion data, making the information publicly available instead of restricting it to school officials upon request.

Takes effect July 1, 2020.
