Amends Mississippi Code Section 11-46-9 to extend sovereign immunity to public ambulance services under the Tort Claims Act.

Provides that governmental employees operating ambulance services are immune from liability unless the employee acted in reckless disregard of the safety and well-being of any person not engaged in criminal activity.

Adds "or the operation of an ambulance service" to the existing list of governmental activities (police and fire protection) protected by qualified immunity.

Takes effect upon passage.
