Allows individual schools qualifying for salary supplements under the Mississippi Performance-Based-Pay (MPBP) plan to grant enhanced supplements to more experienced teachers at their discretion, effective with the 2020-2021 school year.

Schools must submit plans to their local school district showing how all teachers and administrators will improve student achievement, and may now include provisions for enhanced supplements based on teacher experience.

The enhanced supplement authority applies only to schools showing improvement in student test scores and is subject to principal discretion in distributing supplements among more experienced teachers.

Takes effect July 1, 2020.
