Authorizes the State Auditor and office employees to examine tax returns necessary for auditing benefits administered under the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services and the U.S. Department of Agriculture.

Permits the State Auditor to share information related to auditing such federal benefits with state agencies responsible for administering those benefits.

Maintains existing confidentiality protections and prohibitions against disclosure that apply to the Department of Revenue, extending them to the State Auditor and employees.

Amends Section 27-7-83 of the Mississippi Code of 1972 regarding tax return confidentiality and authorized disclosures.
