Amends Section 17-23-1 to authorize counties and municipalities to receive an additional round of fire truck funding under the Rural Fire Truck Acquisition Assistance Program, increasing the maximum assistance per county from $830,000 to $920,000.

Increases the number of fire trucks eligible for assistance per county tier, adding one additional truck at the $90,000 funding level across all eligibility categories (from two to three trucks at that tier).

Maintains existing matching fund requirements of at least one-tenth of requested funds from local sources, with funds dedicated over a period not exceeding ten years.

Requires the Department of Insurance to maintain records of all distributions, notify eligible counties and municipalities, adopt necessary rules, and file annual reports to the Legislature detailing fund distribution and fire truck purchases.

Takes effect July 1, 2020.
