Amends Mississippi Code Section 99-1-5 to remove the phrase "of a child" from sexual battery offenses, making the statute of limitations for sexual battery consistent with rape (no time limit for prosecution).

Sexual battery as described in Section 97-3-95 is now listed among offenses for which prosecution may never be barred by passage of time, matching the treatment of rape.

Removes previous subsection limitation references "(1)(c), (d) or (2)" from the sexual battery statute citation, broadening the scope of sexual battery cases subject to no statute of limitations.

Effective date is July 1, 2020.
