Prohibits possession of firearms and certain weapons by persons convicted of misdemeanors who received enhanced sentences under Sections 99-19-301 through 99-19-307, in addition to existing felony convictions prohibitions.

Covers weapons including bowie knives, dirk knives, butcher knives, switchblade knives, metallic knuckles, blackjacks, and firearm silencers or mufflers.

Violation is a felony punishable by a fine not exceeding $5,000, imprisonment of 1 to 10 years, or both.

Allows misdemeanor offenders sentenced under the enhanced sentencing sections to apply to circuit court for a certificate of rehabilitation to restore firearm possession rights.

Takes effect July 1, 2020.
