Reduces the waiting period for felony expunction from five (5) years to two (2) years after successful completion of all sentence terms and conditions.

Allows first-time misdemeanor offenders to petition for expunction of non-traffic convictions from all public records.

Limits felony expunction eligibility by prohibiting expunction for ten categories of offenses including crimes of violence, arson, drug trafficking, sex offender registration failure, and embezzlement.

Restricts felony expunction to one (1) conviction per person, with all convictions from a common set of facts counted as a single expungible offense.

Effective July 1, 2020.
