• Requires each public school, charter school, and private/parochial school to have at least one trained employee who can administer seizure rescue medications and vagus nerve stimulation (VNS) devices beginning in the 2021-2022 school year.

• Mandates training for designated school personnel in administering seizure medications, recognizing seizure symptoms, and providing appropriate seizure first aid responses.

• Requires parents or guardians of students with seizure disorders to provide written authorization, a healthcare practitioner's statement with medication details, and the medication itself in its original sealed pharmacy package before school personnel can administer it.

• Establishes requirement for schools to develop individualized seizure action plans for students diagnosed with seizure disorders and provide the plan to relevant staff.

• Requires all public schools to provide age-appropriate seizure education programs to all students beginning in 2021-2022 school year and provides immunity from liability for school personnel acting in good faith under this act.
