Removes individual automatic repeal dates from sections of the Mississippi Critical Teacher Shortage Act of 1998, which previously had separate July 1, 2020 expiration dates.

Establishes a new Section 37-159-19 that extends the repeal date for all provisions of the Act (Sections 37-159-1 through 37-159-17) to July 1, 2021.

Maintains existing teacher recruitment and retention programs including moving expense reimbursement (up to $1,000), scholarship assistance for Master of Education and Educational Specialist degrees, employer-assisted home loans up to $6,000, and rental housing construction for teachers in West Tallahatchie School District.

Preserves the Mississippi Critical Teacher Shortage Fund as a special treasury fund for supporting these teacher shortage area programs.

Takes effect July 1, 2020.
